Reduction, Repetition and Progression:

Tresque continues his «Ereignisse» (incidents) series with his 3-track «Ereignisse (part.2)» EP. The Geneva- based artist - who is also know for his experimental work as «D’Incise», and part of the conceptual trio «La Tène» - merges his interest in radicalism, reduction and repetition with his vision of a pure form of Techno. His core ingredients are sonic force, repetition and progression.

«Ereignisse (part.2)» opens with a slow burner: «Hanyatlas» builds on a siren-like synth figure that is beleaguered by Tresque’s crystal clear drum work. «Souke» picks up the mood and transforms it into a fast-paced piece of Techno, while «Rauheit» steadily shifts the focus through the frequency range, extracting one detail after another.
